Sasol Blast Calculator is an on-the-go application that can, in real time, calculate any opencast mining requirements. These include linear charge mass, stemming and scaled depth of burial, kilograms per hole, powder factor, volumes blasted fragmentation presplit, ground vibration and their costs.

The App comes with a wealth of information that can be accessed on the spot. These include field guides, an interactive calculator and a seismograph.
